| Queen Mary, University of London visit the School to accelerate Cooperation |

On Oct 14th, 2013, Professor William Gillin and his assistant from Physics Department visited the School of Science. Vice dean Yu Yongguang, Professor He Jinsheng, President Assistant, Mr. Shao shuangyun , Vice chair of Physics Department and Mr. Liang Chunjun of Institute of Optical and Electronic Information attended the meeting.
Already his second visit to the School of Science, Professor William Gillin had always been eager to accelerate the cooperation in research and education between the physics department of QM University and the physics department of the School of Science. After the meeting, both sides agreed to initiate undergraduate joint programs of “3+2” and “2+2”. Professor William Gillin also expressed great interest to the research direction of the faculty of the Physics Department and hoped for more substantial cooperation in the future.
